MP Nigel Evans officially opens new Pendle Hill Properties franchise in Longridge

MP for the Ribble Valley, Nigel Evans, joined family-run estate and lettings agency Pendle Hill Properties to officially open their brand new franchise in Longridge, on Friday 29th September.

The move comes just five years after Mr Evans joined Pendle Hill Properties at their Read office to help celebrate 10 years of business for the estate agent.

The new premises, located at 74 Berry Lane in the town, will allow Pendle Hill Properties to continue servicing the Preston, South Ribble and Ribble Valley areas, which they have done so successfully over the last two years in Longridge and the surrounding areas including Goosnargh, Grimsargh, Chipping, Ribchester, Whittingham and Hurst Green.

Sales Director, Thomas Turner, who also resides locally in Longridge, as well as being a key part of local cricket and football teams, will be heading up the new franchise.

Pendle Hill Properties already have a strong presence in the local area, having organised an extremely popular Shop Local Easter competition over the last two years, which has engaged with over 4,000 school children, while they also took part in the recent Longridge Soapbox Derby.

Continuing their great work in the local community, the new Pendle Hill Properties office will also be an official drop-off point for the Winter Coats campaign in conjunction with Rotary and the national Wrap Up campaign.

Serviceable, warm, heavy duty winter coats of all sizes and ages are needed to be distributed to homeless shelters, refugee centres, organisations supporting the elderly, women’s refuges, children’s centres, and other charities helping people in crisis.

Thomas Turner, Sales Director at Pendle Hill Properties, said: “We are so excited to be officially opening our brand new premises, right here in the heart of Longridge, on Berry Lane.

“We have been selling and letting properties in the local area for some time, and it is brilliant to now have a permanent base here on the high street.”

Nigel Evans, MP for the Ribble Valley, said: “It has been a real pleasure to be here today to support the opening of another shop on our high street.

“Pendle Hill Properties have already played a big part in the local community, with their fantastic Easter Shop Local campaign, their entry into the recent Soapbox Derby, and the upcoming Winter Coat campaign… and we can’t wait for this to continue!”
