The egg-stremely popular Pendle Hill Properties #ShopLocal competition is taking place in Longridge for the third year running this Easter, with over 200 Easter eggs to be given away.
In partnership with Love Longridge, the initiative will once again encourage people to #ShopLocal in the town, as well as offering some Easter fun for local schoolchildren.
Competition forms have been delivered to local primary schools, with over 2,000 Under 12s now challenged to colour the egg, before posting it in the special post box in any of the participating shops.
Each shop has received 20 Easter eggs from Pendle Hill Properties, to hand out on a first come, first served basis to children taking part in the competition.
The winning design will receive a bunny and a giant Easter egg courtesy of sponsors Pendle Hill Properties.
Thomas Turner, Sales Director of Pendle Hill Properties, said: “The Easter competition is one of the best things we do and it has become a real date in the diary for both local schools and shops.
“We can’t wait to see more people visiting shops on the Longridge high street over Easter, while it is always wonderful to see the creativity that the children have in colouring their eggs.
“We hope everyone has a great time and we can’t wait to see all the entries coming in!”
